Given how thin this cap is, it is surprising how warm it is. Fits nicely over the ears. Provides decent windproofing and warmth insulation. I just got back from a 2 hour ride in cold and windy weather and my ears and head were nice and toasty despite my super ventilated helmet (and I don't have much hair!). My face was freezing but that's another issue!

For me ideal for running in winter. The fit is great and headphones also fit underneath (e.g. Bone Conduction for me). The hat keeps you reliably warm even in sub-zero temperatures and the earflaps also keep your ears warm. With headphones at least the upper part, the flaps sometimes slip out, but less so than with other hats. Would buy the hat again at any time.

Covering my head during sub-zero temp weather is critical - my head is losing a lot of heat if not covered in cold weather. This cap is very spacious and covers ears nicely - you would really appreciate this while riding a bike in cold weather. When this covers your ears, it blocks some of wind noise as well (not completely, but enough to block so that you don't need to worry about hearing loss problem). Overall, I am so happy to purchase this skull cap. Highly recommended!!!
